ODE TO BT’S

Way down in the hole
where men are men
and the air so hot
it will burn your skin

There you will find
the master of the sea,
snipe is his name
but his trade is BT.

For without his hands
the lights would not burn
the guns would not fire,
the shaft would not turn.

Without his hands
There would be no steam
And this powerful Navy
Would be only a dream.

So tilt your glasses to the Navy
Both in the air and on the sea
But tilt them a little higher
For a hard working BT.
